Branislav Pelević, PhD, full-time professor

| Branislav Pelević was born in Belgrade in 1955. He graduated from Faculty of Economics, Belgrade University in 1979, received his master’s degree in 1989 and his PhD degree in 1993 from the same faculty. After graduation, he worked as a teacher in Economic High School, and then as an economic advisor in the Republic Planning Office of Serbia (1984-1987) and SFRJ Presidency (1987-1990). After that he started working at Faculty of Economics within Belgrade University, where he held all the university ranks from teaching assistant to full-time professor. In June 2008 he started working at Megatrend University as a full-time professor and Dean of Faculty of International Economics. While working on his PhD thesis, in 1991-1992 he was at Florida State University, and London School of Economics as the EU TEMPUS research-fellow. Between 2002 and 2004 he held the position of vice-dean for science, and between 2004 and 2006 the position of dean of Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. He was also the Head of Department for International Economic Relations. Between 2001 and 2004 he was a member of the editorial board and editor-in-chief of the ‘Economic anali’ jornal. He is a member of Scientific Society of Economists in the Presidency of which he worked from 2002 until 2006. In the period between 1994 and 1996 he was the Secretary General of the Society of University Professors and Scientists of Serbia. He was also a member of the Federal Economic Council. Branislav Pelević was a member and/or coordinator of several projects for Federal Government, Government of Republic of Serbia, and National Bank of Yugoslavia, as well as of international SCEPP (founded by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) and TEMPUS projects. He is the author and editor of a number of books, monographies, studies and articles, predominantly in the fields of theory and policy of international trade, balance of payment and exchange rate policy. |

Vice Dean
Ljiljana Stanojević, PhD, assistant professor
| Ljiljana Stanojević was born in Belgrade in 1966, where she went to primary and secondary school. She graduated in 1991 from Faculty of mechanical engineering, University of Belgrade. She received the title of Microsoft Certified Professional in 1998. Until 2001 she worked at aviation institute "Moma Stanojlović" in Batajnica. From 2001 she worked in the IT centre of UNHCR as a system engineer. She has been working at Megatrend University since 2002. She received her master’s degree from Faculty of Business Studies, Megatrend University in 2005, and her PhD degree from Faculty of Geoeconomics in 2007. As an assistant professor, she is currently teaching Introduction to informatics and Introduction to Geographical Information Systems at Faculty of International Economics, and Geographical information systems at master studies. She is fluent in English. |
Student Vice Dean
Petar Đogo

Petar Đogo was born in 1987 in Belgrade. He went to The 5th Belgrade Grammar School. In 2006 he started studies at Faculty of Geoeconomics in Belgrade. Currently he is a fourth year student of the Sector for Russia and a scholar of Megatrend University. He speaks English and Russian. Petar Đogo led a delegation of Megatrend University students to the ‘European Model of the UN’ in Maastricht in April 2009. He was elected Student vice Dean in October 2009.

Vice Dean - graduate studies
Nataša Milenković, PhD, assistant professor

Nataša Milenković was born in Jagodina in 1971. She graduated from Faculty of political sciences in Belgrade in 1995. In the period between 2000 and 2002 she worked as a Secretary of Diaspora Fund for Serbia. From 2002 until 2003 she worked in the National Assembly of Serbia on OSCE programme, as an expert on help to national deputies. In 2003 she was awarded master’s degree from Faculty of Political sciences. Since 2004 she has been teaching political geography of the world regions at Megatrend University. Since 2006 until now she has been the coordinator for the Department for Middle East and North Africa. During that mandate cooperation between the Faculty and embassies and cultural centres of the countries from this region in Belgrade (visiting lectures at the Faculty, students’ visit to diplomatic institutions, joint scientific conferences and seminars, etc.) was established. In the organization of the Organization for Islamic relations and cooperation from Teheran, she spent a period from August till October in 2007 in Iran, with the aim of establishing cooperation, further education and scientific research. Nataša Stanojević did PhD at Faculty of geoeconomics within Megatrend University in 2007 from economic geography of the world regions. She was awarded the title of Assistant Professor in January 2008. As a result of the cooperation between the faculty and the Cultural centre of Iran in 2008, Nataša Milenković organized and participated in the seminar: Islamic revolution in Iran through the life and work of Imam Khomeini. From 2009 academic year, she has been teaching Contemporary economy of Russia and port Soviet space, apart from other courses. Nataša Milenković is the author of two textbooks and several scientific papers in the fields of economic geography and regional economy. She participated at international conferences in Teheran at the Institute for cooperation of the Persian Gulf in 2008. and in Belgrade, at Megatrend University in 2009.
