In June 2009 Megatrend University and Britihs Council signed the contract on cooperation according to which Megatrend University students are enabled to take Business English Certificate exams during their studies, obtining thus the prestigeous, world-wide acknowledged Cambridge University diplomas in Business English. The contract also provides the students with two ’trial’ exams per year free of charge. The aim for the students is to get acquainted with the exams and their formats. Today, a good knowledge of English is needed to succeed in international business and commerce. Any candidate for a job having relevant language skills will have a great advantage in the jobs market and much greater flexibility if he/she wants to work abroad. English language curricula at Graduate School of International Economics are compatible with the curricula of the above mentioned exams, so that the students obtain full preparation for them through their lectures.
